Rhode Island Beaches
For such a small state, Rhode Island has an incredibly long coastline and this gives a great variety of beaches. The Atlantic beaches have the best surf but there are many more beaches around Narragansett Bay and all of them have a unique appeal. If the Rhode Island coastal beaches aren't quite enough, there is Block Island just off-shore with yet more beaches! Block Island is accessible by ferry or by air and you can pick up a fast ferry from Point Judith. Use the Rhode Island map if you want to explore the entire state as it will show you many more Rhode Island attractions.
The idea of surfing New England sounds silly if you've never visited but you'll find many surfers in the state and you'll frequenlty find they've got their surfboards on their cars ready for the next tide.
