Krohn Conservatory Christmas Show
The Krohn Conservatory Christmas Display is a Cincinnati tradition and visitors come from all over to see it. Don't let me under-state its popularity - Your patience will almost certainly be tested as you try to find a place to park but the wait is well worth it. Consider visiting on a week day as the week-ends are usually more crowded. But definitely consider it!
Pink Poinsettias
Here are some of the countless poinsettias featured in the show.
Poinsettia Tree
Is this really a tree or some magic of the Conservatory?
Train Bridge
Little trains work their way across bridges, through the flowers, and around the little cottages.
The Cottage
This is a little cottage surrounded by a forest of cyclamen. A tiny river flows down the hill in the background.
The Corral
The Conservatory staff has built a corral specially for this event and quiet falls over the animals as night falls. The exuberance of the poinsettias and the display inside the Conservatory gives way to thoughtfulness and reflection as people move to the nativity scene.
The Nativity
The music of Christmas plays softly in the distance and people drift slowly by.
