Attractions and Special Events in Cincinnati
There are many things for which Cincinnati is well-known. The Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals are familiar everywhere but there are many things that are not so widely-publicized and yet which offer unique and extraordinary charms. If you are visiting Cincinnati and you have an opportunity to see any of them, do take that opportunity as you will see things you might not be able to see anywhere else.
Cincinnati is also an extremely musical city. Whether you're looking for an oom-pah band up to the heaviest metal rock or anything in-between, you will find it somewhere in Cincinnati. Cincinnati is well-known for the quality and variety of its restaurants but the reputation for music deserves at least the same level of recognition. It's not something one really appreciates until after going somewhere else and finding that other places don't have it.
For Cincinnati hotels, The Westin Cincinnati is downtown in the center of everything. Expect to pay a premium but it's worth it. A more economical solution is to stay across the river in Covington at the Hampton Inn Riverfront. It's close to downtown but without the downtown expense.
