Google Maps go 3D

There are maps for Cincinnati and Rhode Island and you can get to them from tabs on the top of the screen. What's different about them is that I've activated them for Google Earth and that means you can switch from a street map view to a 3D flying view. You'll need the Google Earth plugin for your browser for it to work but Google will be more than happy to help you with that.

That might seem like some big programming effort but it was only a couple of lines of code and they were copied from an example that did what I wanted mine to do.

Anyway, you may get a kick out of the maps as they've got all kinds of hotspots on them to show you different points of interest. Google maintains them even after you switch to Google Earth so it looks pretty impressive.

I've been bitching out all the stuff on the Web that doesn't work but this part apparently does. Have fun with it.
